ABOUT

Keisha Champagne is a Chicago based actor determined to live life to the fullest. A strong intelligent actress with a deep emotional well and a sharp sense of humor, she is often cast as such.

A Pittsburgh native and former Division 1 college athlete, Keisha discovered acting in college and quickly changed her major from Mechanical Engineering to Theatre.  After graduation, she moved to LA for the pursuit, but life has other plans. Some beautiful, some devastating. During the hiatus, she was a small business owner and stayed creative.

After a relocation to Chicago, in 2016, Keisha happily returned to acting where she quickly began working professionally. The proponent of working harder and smarter, since her return, she’s trained in improv at Second City and recently completed Chicago’s infamous conservatory "The ACADEMY" at Black Box Acting.

Keisha is probably best known for her appearances as Virginia Cutler on NBC’s Chicago PD. She just had her Chicago stage debut as Keely in the Jeff Recommended Keely and Du at Redtwist  Theatre (see what critics are saying here). You can see her latest work here. She is also a writer currently in the process of producing her first web series, SubURBAN

When not working, you can find Keisha hanging with her husband, dance battling 5 year olds (their twin children) and navigating the psychological minefield that is motherhood. She is represented by Shirley Hamilton, Inc.

HERE'S WHAT CRITICS ARE  SAYING

“Champagne gives Keely a fighting chance. Her range of emotion is heartbreaking in all of the right places and stoically hilarious in others. Never have I fought my baser instincts so hard. I’m not sure what stopped me from crossing the three foot distance to comfort her, despite knowing full well it was a play.”
